Every dental checkup administered at Mowry Dental includes multiple phases. It starts with one of our dental hygienists performing a professional dental cleaning to remove hardened tartar and other bacterial deposits. It also includes a polishing treatment to help remove minor dental stains. 

The next phase of the dental checkup involves Drs. Thi Hoang or Thanh Pham performing a comprehensive oral examination to monitor the health of your teeth and gums. If they find any signs of tooth decay or gum disease they will explain your treatment options. 

Our dentist will then perform a basic screening for early signs of oral or pharyngeal cancer. It involves examining your mouth for any signs of inflammation, discoloration or other abnormalities. If you have noticed something out of the ordinary, you should let them know.
